Agudun ba da sandabangaren lantarki ne wanda ke amfani da ka'idodin lantarki ko wasu tasirin jiki don cimma "kunnawa/kashe" ta atomatik. Babban aikinsa shine sarrafa kashe manyan na'urorin lantarki na yanzu / high ƙarfin lantarki tare da ƙananan halin yanzu / sigina, yayin da kuma cimma warewa na lantarki tsakanin da'irori don tabbatar da amincin ƙarshen sarrafawa.
Ana iya rarraba manyan ayyukanta zuwa rukuni uku:
1. Sarrafa da Ƙarawa: Yana iya canza siginar sarrafawa mai rauni (kamar milliampere-level currents fitarwa ta microcomputers guda-chip da na'urori masu auna firikwensin) a cikin igiyoyi masu ƙarfi wanda ya isa ya fitar da na'urori masu ƙarfi (irin su motoci da masu zafi), aiki a matsayin "amplifier sigina". 3. Hankali da Kariya: Ana iya haɗa shi don aiwatar da ma'auni mai rikitarwa, kamar haɗakarwa (hana motoci biyu farawa lokaci guda) da kuma jinkirta kulawa (jinkirin haɗin kaya na wani lokaci bayan kunnawa). Wasu keɓaɓɓun relays (kamar relays mai wuce gona da iri da zafi mai zafi) kuma na iya lura da rashin daidaituwar da'ira.
